Achievements - British Snowboard Champion

continued

For me, the snowboarding season does not end when the snow melts, as it continues throughout the summer months, where I have been acting as a positive role model, such as by participating in kid's sports days.

I have also previously been involved in different events, such as the National Walking Week, where I was asked to take part in a walk called ‘Walking with Heroes’, walking with over 250 school children from different parts of Scotland. Other people who took part in this walk were Sir Jimmy Saville, and Mike Dixon, who is Britain’s longest serving Olympian for the biathlon, to serve as a positive role model for the children. There was a press release to accompany this.

I have represented my country in the World Championships and appeared on the 'BBC Adventure Scotland' television show, along with the Olympic athletes, to raise awareness of the Scottish winter sport talent.
