Personal Profile - British Snowboard Champion
I have been a Scottish snowboarder now for 14 years and competing in the World Snowboard Federation (W.S.F.) and Federation of International Snowboarding (F.I.S.) circuits for the past 7 years where I have gained vast experience and results. At the end of season 2001-2002, I was ranked 1st in Britain for the Giant Slalom on the W.S.F. race circuit. During the season 2002/ 2003, I broke into the World Cup Circuit at Boardercross in the F.I.S. races. I was the overall British Boardercross Champion in 2004. Now I am starting the 2007/2008 season ranking 1st in Britain and over all 64th in the European cup standings and moved up 204 places in world rankings from last season. From 2004/2005 season's I have consecutively had podium positions in the last 4 British Championships. None of this could have been achieved without the help and support of my sponsors and supporters. Together with my sponsorships, supporters and my achievements I hope to continue to compete for my country. With continued support I hope to achieve my goal of competing in the next Winter Olympics. I am nearer to my goal each year and my confidence, skills and experience are growing all the time. I believe with the right sponsorship and support, my efforts will be rewarded with more medals and a high level of media exposure both nationally and internationally for my sponsors. Stevens Diary
